A small shop with an unfair advantage.
Auto-Data.AI is a small team. On one side, a handful of ex-automotive executives who spent their careers inside OEM pricing, incentives, and product planning — the people who used to set the numbers this platform now tracks. On the other, a few Silicon Valley engineers who are happiest with a stubborn data problem and a deadline. We combined forces around a niche most people find unglamorous and we find irresistible: knowing exactly what every automaker is offering, everywhere in the US, the minute it changes.
We do one thing. We do it well.
How we see what everyone else misses
Frontier LLMs are only the last mile. The hard part isn't summarizing data — it's capturing it. Manufacturer and dealer systems are defended: bot detection, session locks, regional gates, and JavaScript that refuses to surrender the numbers unless exactly the right browser asks in exactly the right way. So we built our own toolchain — AI-enabled scrapers paired with bot-resistance techniques — that reads what has been publicly published (lease, finance, cash, programs, inventory) even when it sits behind those defenses. Only then do the language models do what they're genuinely good at: normalize it, compare it across nineteen brands and two hundred markets, and explain the move in plain language — with the receipt attached.
The result is one comparable, cited number where there used to be a hundred press releases, regional feeds, and fine-print PDFs.
What we track
- Offers — lease, finance, cash, and program offers, by trim, by DMA, hour by hour.
- Inventory — every VIN at every franchise dealer, with days-supply and configuration mix.
- Programs — military, loyalty, conquest, X-Plan, college student, first responder.
What we don't do
Sell consumer pricing data. Run dealer chatbots. Touch personally identifiable information. We are a B2B intelligence layer — the product is the signal, not the audience.
Where we are
We work out of downtown Los Angeles — close enough to the dealerships and design studios to keep our instincts honest, far enough from Detroit to stay objective. Visitors are welcome by appointment; the coffee is better than the lobby suggests.
